The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai has commissioned some completed projects and and also inspected ongoing ones.
Buratai who was accompanied by top military officers including Comdt AFCSC Jaji AVM LS Alao, Comd Inf Corps, Maj Gen SO Olabanji, Comdt NASI, Maj Gen Ali-Keffi, Comdt Martins Luther Agwai International Leadership Peacekeeping Centre (MLAILPKC), amongst others also supervised all the projects in Jaji Military Cantonment, Kaduna state.
General Buratai was earlier in the week, was in Kaduna on Tuesday,3rd December, 2019 for a 5 days COAS annual conference where President Muhammadu Buhari unveiled some military hardwares, manufactured by Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) ,an indigenous manufacturing firm.
Some of the projects commissioned by Buratai were, worshipping centres of the newly reconstructed Jaji Military Cantonment’s Central Mosque and the Hall of Divine Intervention of the Catholic Church.
Other projects include- the New Soldiers’ Club, new Hostel Blocks at Camp Kabala and Support Weapons Wing of NASI.
Gen Buratai further inspected many ongoing projects that were yet to be completed. Some of the projects were,
Medical Operating Theatre, Residential accommodations, Army Children School amongst others.
