The magnanimity as well as leadership qualities and track record of achievements most especially in the war against terrorism and insurgency including the fight against other forms of criminality has earned yet another award on the Nigeria’s army boss, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai.
The prestigious award in this very important moment was given to the Chief of Army Staff ,Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai by The Waves Publishers Limited ,the Publishers of Security Waves Magazine.

“Nigeria’s Army Chief Lt Gen Tukur Buratai has received the Africa Security Excellence Award today Saturday the 29th of February 2020.
“The prestigious award was awarded to him by The Waves Publishers Limited the Publishers of Security Waves Magazine.
“The award was received on his behalf by the Commander Training and Doctrine Command Maj Gen AA Tarfa”.
The award is coming at a time when Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorist organisations are facing a major defeat due to the renewed zeal ,doggedness and commitment by the troops under the leadership of Buratai.
Gen. Buratai had in recent times received both local and international awards due to his track record of achievements as well as repositioning the Nigerian army in the areas of civil military relationship, sustaining its professionalism and being responsive in the discharge of its constitutional duties, amongst others
