Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State today presented a souvenir to Leader of the party, His Excellency, Governor Samuel Ortom in felicitation with him over his 59th Birthday Anniversary.
The event took place at the New Banquet Hall of the Peoples House, Makurdi with a select team of members of the State Executive Council also present.
The souvenir, a king-size hand-made Greeting Card, was presented by a 4 member delegation of the Benue PDP led by State Chairman, Sir John Ngbede and also including State Woman Leader, Hon. Mrs. Abeje Egwa; State Youth Leader, Patrick Iorshe Modom and State Publicity Secretary, Bemgba Iortyom.
State Chairman, John Ngbede thanked God Almighty for his protection and provisions over the governor and the people of the state, even as he prayed continued grace over him.
The governor was full of appreciation for the gift and assured the party delegation that he will utilise the wisdom associated with his new age to deliver good governance to the people of the state.
Gov. Ortom also called on the people to remain prayerful and maintain the prescribed safety measures required of them for prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
