Breaking: Buratai lays foundation of Army Reference Hospital, Maiduguri

The Directorate of Army Public Relations (DAPR) says the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai has earlier today performed the unprecedented and remarkable Ground Breaking Ceremony of the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Maiduguri, Borno state.

This is part of effort to cater for the welfare and medical needs of the army personnel and soldiers and other people residence in the state and environs.

An official statement made available to Enugu Reporters by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sagir Musa said Gen. Buratai is a responsive leader who cares for the welfarism and the general wellbeing of of army personnel as evidenced in a colossal and massive infrastructural developmental projects across the country since his inception as the Chief of Army Staff.

According to him, His Excellency the Governor of Borno State, Gov. Babagana Zulum who was the Special Guest of Honour was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Babagana Wakil.

The Chief of Training and Operations Army, Chief of Logistics Army and other Principal Staff Officers from Army Headquarters, Theatre Commander Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Chief of Military Intelligence, Corps Commanders, Coordinator Nigerian Army Special Projects, Chief of Civil-Military Affairs, Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division, invited formations and units Commanders, Heads of security agencies and paramilitary organizations in Borno State, distinguished invited individuals from all works of life as well as members of the host community attended the historic occasion.
