40 health workers in Kano are undergoing a training by the Nigeria Center for Disease control NCDC, in collaboration with the state government and UNICEF, which is funded by UN basket fund.
A medical consultant with the Aminu Kano teaching Hospital AKTH, Dr Ramalan Yusif said the training would exposing participants to best practices in home base care management of covid 19 patients.
UNICEF’s communications specialist, Mr Samuel Kalu said the training would also keep the health workers abreast of the development in home base management of the disease.
