The minister of information and tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has disregarded a statement credited to transparency international maintaining that the country is milking from covid- 19 or there is corruption as regards Covid 19 issues in the country.
The minister made this known while speaking on a television programme on NTA on Wednesday.
The minister while reacting to the allegation said he is more worried on the spike of covid 19 cases in the country, Nigerians disregarding the presidential Task force Directives on Covid19, and most importantly worried on how to quickly get the covid19 vaccine for the country.
He added that what the administration of president Buhari is after at the moment is the safety of all Nigerians and social development and of course the government is geared towards doing these and would not be distracted in her quest to achieving it.
The minister thereafter advised the people to continue supporting the government of president Buhari in her quest to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the people and Nigerians as a whole.
