As part of its commitment to providing comprehensive training and capacity development, the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI) organized a study tour for its students to the Nigerian Army Welfare Limited By-Guarantee (NAWLG) and Armed Forces of Nigeria Radio Service (AFNRS 107.7 FM) in Abuja.
The tour which was led by the Commandant, Lieutenant Colonel Adamu Ngulde, the students from the Media Operation Officers Course 14/24, X2 News Reporting, and X2 Graphics and Printing (Second Quarter Courses) visited the two institutions on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

At NAWLG, they were received by the Deputy Director of Operations, Colonel Abubakar Gwani, who represented the Group Managing Director, Major General Sunday Jiya. The students were briefed on the day-to-day activities of the group by the Acting Director of Corporate Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Ngozi Agha-Okoro, and conducted a tour of the facilities, including the Printing Press, where they gained practical knowledge of the machines and their functions.

At AFNRS, the Executive Director, Colonel Timothy Antigha (Rtd), commended the team for the visit and applauded the Commandant for exposing the students to practical knowledge and encouraging them to use their experience for the betterment of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
The students were conducted around the facilities, equipment, and departments in the station under the supervision of the Assistant Director of programmes, Navy Captain Edward Yeibo.


The tour’s highlights included a vote of thanks by the students, and a presentation of plaques, and photographs, making it a memorable and enriching experience for the students.
