In a series of successful counter-terrorism operations, Nigerian Army troops deployed in Kaduna and Niger States have inflicted significant damage on terrorist groups operating in the regions. Reports said, troops neutralized four terrorists and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during clearance and ambush operations.
In Kaduna State, troops conducted clearance operations in Rijana Forest, targeting terrorist hideouts in Amale, Gidan Jatua, Gidan Danfulani, and Gidan Duna villages.
During the operation, troops encountered terrorists at Koko Hill in Rijana Forest, neutralizing three of them and recovering three AK-47 rifles, two motorbikes, and ammunition.

Similarly,in Niger State, troops set up an ambush around Katako village, along Zungeru-Tegina Road, neutralizing one terrorist and recovering an AK-47 rifle with ammunition. The troops also seized a GSM handset, a cash sum of N27,800, two GSM SIM cards, three USB cords, and assorted drugs.
These operations again demonstrate the Nigerian Army’s commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of citizens in the country.
