The Registrar of the National Examination Council (NECO), Professor Ibrahim Dantana Wushishi, Friday, embarked on a familiarization visit to the Nigerian Navy Secondary School (NNSS) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The purpose of the visit was to acquaint himself and NECO officials with the secondary schools in the Port Harcourt area, discuss challenges and setbacks experienced during NECO registration and examination, and explore avenues for improvement.

During the visit, the NECO Registrar commended the Commandant of NNSS Port Harcourt, Commander CE Omezurike, for maintaining exceptional standards and support.
Enugu Reporters reports that the visit highlights NECO’s commitment to fostering collaborative relationships with educational institutions, ensuring the smooth conduct of examinations, and promoting academic excellence.


The visit also provided an opportunity for the NECO Registrar to engage with students, teachers, and school administrators, gaining valuable insights into the school’s operations and challenges.
This familiarization visit marks the beginning of a new chapter in NECO’s efforts to enhance the educational landscape in Nigeria.
