In a landmark event, the National Defence College’s Course 32 participants presented a seminal research paper to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, at the Naval Headquarters’ EZEOBA Hall on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
The paper, titled “Human Capacity Development and Operational Effectiveness: Strategic Options for the Nigerian Navy by 2035,” offered a comprehensive analysis of the Nigerian Navy’s human capacity development and proposed innovative solutions for improvement through scenario-building mechanisms.

The CNS, Vice Admiral Ogalla, commended the participants for their exemplary research and challenged them to explore contemporary strategies to address the Navy’s human capacity development challenges.

The presentation was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including the Commandant of the National Defence College, Rear Admiral OM Olotu, Principal Staff Officers, Directors of Naval Headquarters, the College Secretary, and the Directing Staff of the College.

This presentation underscores the Nigerian Navy’s commitment to excellence and its dedication to fostering a culture of innovation and strategic thinking.
