Troops neutralize two terrorists in Kaduna ambush, recover fireams

In a daring and decisive operation, Nigerian Army troops dealt a significant blow to terrorism in Kaduna State, neutralizing 2 terrorists and capturing their arms in a swift ambush on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Acting on actionable intelligence, the troops laid a well-coordinated trap along the Tasha-Bwari Road, a critical link between Gurara town in Kachia and Kagarko Local Government Areas.

As the terrorists took the bait, the troops engaged them in a fierce gun battle, resulting in the neutralization of two terrorists, while others fled with gunshot wounds.

The operation yielded a cache of arms and valuable intelligence, including an AK-47 rifle, machetes, mobile phones, and N80,000 in cash.

Reports said, this successful ambush not only averted a potential terrorist attack but also delivered a significant blow to the terrorist network operating in the State.
