The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) 413 Force Protection Group was dispatched to Sabon Gida Forest along Sabon Birni Road in Igabi Local Government Area (LGA), Kaduna State, after sighting terrorist activities in the area.

Director of Public Relations and Information NAF, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet disclosed this in a statement on Sunday said the deployment of the NAF’s Special Forces (SFs) was in response to an intelligence report received on August 31, 2024.

The report indicated that a known terrorist kingpin, Mustapha Abdullahi, and five members of his group were spotted in the area, posing a threat to innocent civilians.
