COAS unveils ultra-modern PHDL corporate headquarters

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, officially commissioned the newly constructed Corporate Headquarters of Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL) to serve as office accomodation.

According to the Post-Service Housing Development Limited Acting Public Relations Officer, Lieutenant Augustina Nkeonye the landmark event marked a significant milestone in the company’s history, solidifying its position as a leader in Nigeria’s real estate development sector.

During the ceremony, the COAS praised the impressive edifice, describing it as a masterpiece that enhances the prestige of PHDL.

He emphasized the building’s importance in supporting the company’s mission to provide post-service housing for Nigerian Army personnel, a core pillar of his welfare-focused leadership. Lieutenant General Oluyede also commended the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) PHDL, Major General Joseph Omali, for his hard work, dedication to duty, and commitment to excellence.

Major General Omali, in his Welcome Address, provided a brief background of the project, expressing his appreciation for the COAS’s support and enthusiasm.

He also acknowledged the contributions of his predecessors, who conceptualized and sustained the building of the magnificent edifice.

The commissioned project includes the Company’s Corporate Headquarters, three blocks of 18 flats officers quarters, Regimental Sergeant Major office block/Mechanical Transport Yard, Cafeteria, and places of worship.

The event was attended by past MD/CEOs of PHDL, who were celebrated for their pivotal roles in shaping the organization, as well as other distinguished guests.

Key highlights of the event included the unveiling of the facility, a guided tour, and a group photograph to commemorate this historic occasion.
