The Navy Holdings Limited (NHL) has issued a warning to potential subscribers about scammers attempting to swindle unsuspecting Nigerians of their hard-earned money in its Lake View Estate, Navy Town Asokoro properties.
In a statement relayed to Enugu Reporters, signed by Commander Abdulsalam Sani, Public Relations Officer for the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer explained that the NHL has not authorised any third-party agents to facilitate land or property sales, and all transactions are handled directly with subscribers.
He noted that the NHL deals directly with subscribers, and as such advised the potential buyers not to engage with individuals posing as agents.
He urged the interested parties to visit the NHL office on Aso Clinic Road, Asokoro, adjacent to the Army War College Nigeria.
Commander Sani assured that the NHL is working to identify those behind the attempted fraud.
Enugu Reporters gathered that the warning is part of the NHL’s efforts to protect its subscribers and maintain transparency in its operations
