In a significant boost to the welfare of its personnel, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has commissioned new facilities at its 213 Forward Operating Base in Katsina, Katsina State.
The projects include two accommodation blocks and a dedicated worship centre for Christian personnel, marking a major milestone in the NAF’s efforts to improve the living and working conditions of its personnel.
The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, said the projects demonstrate the NAF’s commitment to putting people first and building a highly motivated force.
“This is how we build a highly motivated force—by putting people first. By renewing infrastructure, and restoring dignity.” He said.
The projects were made possible through the support of the Federal Government, National Assembly, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
