16 gang of suspected cultists kill a beer parlour owner in Abuja.

The gang numbering about 16 suspected to be cultists have attacked and killed one Mr. Chukwuma Uzochukwu, owner of a drinking bar commonly  called Beer parlour  in Wumba Apo village area of Abuja.

Mr. Uzuchukwu who is about 35 year old was attacked and killed by a group of cultists armed with guns, machetes and other dangerous object operating in the area at about 10 pm Monday night.

Speaking with Mrs. Ginika Ozochukwu a sister to the deceased who is also an eye witness said, the suspected cultists numbering  about 16  attacked and killed  the victim in his shop at about  10pm.

She said, the victim was confirmed dead by the doctors when he was rushed to the National Hospital Abuja. She said, after the confirmation of his death, several efforts to deposit the body into the morgues in Abuja proved abortive as they claimed to have no space comparing them to convey the corpse to the village morgue in Enugu.

Our Correspondent gathered that the scene of the incident was littered with blood of the victim and pieces of stones.

Mrs. Uzochukwu said the matter has been reported to Apo Division of the Nigeria Police, though we were yet to confirm the incident from the police as at the time of writing this report.

The victim hails from Umuagwu, Umualugwa, Adu Achi in Oji River LGA of Enugu state.
