The Nigerian Army headquarters ,Abuja has today about 10:15 am experienced a minor fire outbreak.

Director Army Public Relations disclosed this in a statement said the incident occurred due to an electrical fault that led to the outbreak of the fire.

clashed thereby resulting to a spark which generated to the fire outbreak.
Recalled that the Army Headquarters is currently undergoing some renovations and repairs as such the renovated buildings are also under electrification.
But the combined teams from Nigerian Army, Navy, Airforce and Federal fire Services have since put off the fire recording no or minimal damages as normalcy has since returned to the headquarters and routine activities are going on.
“The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Major General Ibrahim Attahiru has commended the fire service teams for their proactiveness in curtailing the spread of the fire and bring everything under control.”
