Otunba Msuaan presents vision, convenes inaugural board meeting

Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Wannune, Benue State, convened the inaugural meeting of the newly reconstituted council at the school premises on Tuesday, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s pursuit of academic excellence.

In his opening remarks, Chief Msuaan who is also known as Otunba Akeweje of Owu-Kuta kingdom
expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, for the trust placed in him to oversee the polytechnic’s progress.

He acknowledged the institution’s growth and challenges, commending the board members for their unwavering commitment to education and the advancement of Federal Polytechnic Wannune.

With the board’s support, Chief Msuaan expressed confidence in achieving remarkable milestones in line with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He outlined key areas of focus, including: quality education, research and innovation , infrastructural development, partnerships, governance and accountability

The council’s primary objective, he emphasized, is to ensure the polytechnic remains a beacon of academic excellence and a hub for technical and vocational education.

Rector Dr. Emmanuel Tyover Ashinya assured a cordial working relationship with the Council and highlighted the institution’s progress, including accreditation for additional courses and improved facilities. The event featured a guard of honor, a tour of facilities, and a commitment to collaboration with stakeholders for the institution’s growth.
