In a bold move to enhance the skills of its personnel, the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI) has partnered with the International Institute for Publishing Studies (IIPS) at the University of Abuja.
This strategic collaboration, led by NASPRI’s Commandant, Lt Col Adamu Ngulde, aims to equip students with the latest skills in graphics and printing technology, aligning with global best practices.
The partnership, established on February 6, 2025, will focus on training students of X1 Graphics Design and Printing, providing them with practical knowledge and exposure to meet the demands of the Nigerian Military.
Lt Col Ngulde emphasized the importance of discipline and open-mindedness, urging students to ask questions and maintain the highest level of professionalism as military personnel.
In his remarks, Prof. Chris Wolumati Ogbondah, Director of IIPS, welcomed the NASPRI team and expressed his commitment to overseeing the training programme.
He appreciated the Military as the nation’s pride and promised to expose students to all applications used in Graphics Design, as well as modern printing machines at the Centre.
The visit culminated in a tour of the Institute’s facilities, led by Alh. Abdulwasiu Mustapha and Mr Eguzoro Gideon, former and current General Managers of UniAbuja Printing Limited, respectively.
The partnership is a significant step towards enhancing the capabilities of NASPRI students, and the Nigerian Military as a whole, in the fields of graphics design and printing.
