Troops of 3 Division and Operation SAFE HAVEN have conducted a successful intelligence-based raid operation on May 12, 2025, at a suspected bandits’ hideout in Teng Mountain/Forest, Qua’an Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State.
In a statement issued by Major Samson Nantip Zhakom, Media Information Officer Operation SAVE, noted that during the operation, two bandits were killed, and several items were recovered, including, one AK-47 rifle, AK-47 magazine, and fabricated rifle (7.62mm Special) respectively.
Others are seven rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition, four mobile phones, two motorcycles and N157,000.00 in cash.
The recovered items, according to the statement are in custody, and the mobile phones are being examined to aid in tracking and arresting other members of the criminal syndicate.
The leadership of Operation SAFE HAVEN assures the public that troops will continue to conduct offensive operations against criminals, meeting their activities with stiff resistance.
